Printing Services Accomplishments and Richardson or Richardson earn Communications Concepts APEX Award of Excellence for Relocation Campaign
PHOENIX: Printing Services Online, a Phoenix-based commercial printer, and Richardson or Richardson, a positioning and graphic image consultancy, were jointly awarded an APEX Award of Excellence for the development and design of a relocation campaign on behalf of Printing Services Online. The campaign elements consisted of a two-color flipbook mailed in small cotton mailing bag (the teaser) and a follow-up, two-color relocation announcement mailed in a specially imprinted envelope. The award was given in the One-Of-A-Kind Publications:Printed category.
APEX Print services rewards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and overall communications excellence. The competition was sponsored by Communications Concepts, publisher of the newsletter, Writing that Works , The Business Communications Report . The judges included John De Lellis, Concepts Editor and Publisher; Nancy Rathbun Scott, Contributing Editor of Writing that Works ; and Dr. Paul Fisher, Concepts Sr. Evaluator and formerly Prof. of Journalism with the University of Missouri School of Journalism. According to the contest organizer, some 4900 entries were received in 96 categories.
In April, Best Online Printing relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility, quadrupling its square footage and doubling its electronic printing capacity. The relocation announcement program was designed to increase awareness of Printing Services Online and its new facility.
